1. Ties and cravats are cleaned professionally and gently using natural cleaning products.

2. I am not responsible for defects in ties when they are delivered to me if these are due to the quality of the materials used in the tie or cravat and cannot be detected by a general visual inspection (e.g. damage caused by inadequate strength of the fabric and seams, inadequate fastness of dyes and prints).

3. The ties or cravats shall be returned to the stated address after cleaning by the agreed method of dispatch or on production of the confirmation of order. If the customer's address is incorrect and the tie or cravat cannot be delivered, after a period of one year the tie or cravat shall be deemed unclaimed and utilised as I see fit.

4. Complaints relating to defects in the cleaned ties or cravats must be made within 2 weeks after they have been returned to the customer. All rights stated under the guarantee in the cleaning contract expire after this deadline.

5.The limit of liability for a lost tie or cravat is unrestricted up to the current market value of the tie or cravat. Liability for loss due to the use of the standard postal service is excluded. Liability for damage caused by the cleaning process shall only be accepted if this can be proven to be intentional or due to gross negligence but in such a case is unrestricted up to the current market value of the item. In all other cases, liability is limited to 15x the cost of the cleaning process.
